Functions and Modes

• Coffee Mode: works with all brewing methods (drip and batch-slurry).
• Espresso Mode: quickly determines extraction yield for professional baristas and specialty roasters, allowing rapid adjustments to avoid over-extracted (bitter) or under-extracted (sour) shots.
• Cupping Mode provides quick reference for correct water/coffee brew formulas and full charting features
• Flexible calculations: enter desired beverage amount, brew water, or coffee dose, and CoffeeTools computes all other values based on strength and extraction. Enter measured % TDS and beverage yield, and CoffeeTools plots the actual result versus the target on the Universal Brewing Control Chart.
• Density as a function of temperature is accounted for in all calculations using Brew Water or Beverage Volume.
