Shipping policy
International Shipments
-
Duties & Taxes: All import taxes, duties, and value-added taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser/importer.
-
Tracking & Customs: Many customs offices and postal services do not provide notification upon arrival. It is your responsibility to track your shipment daily and contact your customs office to ensure timely payment of fees.
- Tracking Limitations: All international shipments include tracking, but updates may stop once the parcel leaves the U.S. unless shipped via FedEx.
Insurance & Claims
- USPS Ground Advantage and First Class parcels are not insured and do not include a signature option. Select USPS Priority or FedEx for insured, signature required delivery.
- Shipments must be inspected within three (3) business days of delivery. Any issues must be reported within that timeframe and must include photo documentation of the issue, along with the original packaging, shipping labels, and packing slip.
- Orders valued over $500 must be shipped insured and require a signature.
- Claims for missing or undelivered parcels must be made within 30 days of the ship date.
Freight Forwarding Services
- VST does not ship to freight forwarding services. Orders placed with a freight forwarding address may be canceled and refunded (minus credit card fees).
- If you choose to use a forwarding service, you assume all risk of loss. VST’s responsibility ends once the shipment is confirmed delivered to the forwarding service by FedEx. No chargebacks will be accepted for items lost, damaged, or undelivered after that point.
